The meeting was called to order at 7:05 p.m. by president, Bill Clingan. 

The treasurer’s report was read and approved. 

New Business: 

The Mountain Lakes Triathlon will be Saturday August 11^th at 6:30-11:00 a.m. We need ham operators to work at this event. Additional info can be found on the club web site. 

We have been working at the 92 site. Charter is looking into phone service. Another building may possibly be put up. They asked for the current building to be cleaned up because. They have some executives coming to tour the site. 

Huntsville ham fest is August 18^th and 19^th. 

A motion was made by Richard Walthall and 2^nd by Don Elrod to renew the bmara.org website and reimburse Bill Clingan the $15 fee. 

Bill asked if anybody had any ideas to help promote the club. Don Elrod mentioned how the club used to go the high school and junior high and do a radio demonstration. He thought we might want to look into doing this again.
